julian,i have a high blue snake that is now ,at 2 years, beginning to gain quite a bit of blue.now im wondering,he is not a high blue locale type but is a high blue morph and every month seems to be getting more and more blue.really great looking snake.i dont have a female high blue to pair him with but he is my only designer type and i would really like to breed him.i have no experience with breeding designers or know of the genetics behind blue animals but i am wondering, what would be a good animal to pair him up with short of loaning him out to a high blue female?i have a really nice sorong locale with lots and lots of blue, but just a basic locale snake, not a true blue.would pairing him up with a sorong with strong blue dorsal area give me a better shot of true blue offspring, than if i paired him up with a basic patternless green?the reason im asking is i have seen quite a few blue breedings where they used an all green snake as opposed to a sorong type with at least some blue.im unsure of my blues genetics or if both parents are from a high blue line.he was purchased when i was in school in canada as a high blue neonate but thats as much info as i was able to get.i actually had him and my sorong together this month but im pretty sure now they didnt take.
