Got this little male pastel and 6 females ranging from 150-350 grams for 550 and had 2 abberant males thrown in. I think I did ok, can anyone take a guess as to what line he might be descendant from?

If you're talking Dollars, yes, you did OK. The females alone should have cost that much. You got the pastel for free. Of course thats IF you're talking dollars AND you're not pulling our leg.

actually I paid 500 for the pastel and 50 for the 6 females and 2 males. They are all ranched babies and they were the last of about 400 that came in, so the seller was just looking to get rid of them.

That was a killer deal on the pastel!
Is he bell line?

What would concern me would be the actual origin of these "ranched babies".
If they were captive hatched that were raised here from their first shed...well those are usually fine...but...If they are just wild caught yearlings then you need to get that pastel far far away from them for a while.

good luck

I'm not sure of the origin of the females, they all are healthy in appearance and none have ticks or mites. All are fat and great looking and I saw some stool in a few cages and it looked good. Either way though I'm not taking chances and they are housed on seperate sides of the room, I really only bought them to resell them.

As far as the pastel goes, I could have got him for 400 but I was stupid and made the deal through the sellers friend. I gave the friend a 100 dollar deposit to hold the snake and the friend wound up keeping the 100 and the seller was ok with it because he found him a buyer. Had I gone directly I could have gotten it for 400 but paying 500 doesn't bother me at all bc I think it looks a lot better than most of the pastels I saw at Daytona.

I don't know what line it is, I sent the seller an email, but I was wondering if anybody could take a guess as to what line it is?
