I was just wondering how big my sumatran female will get? How fast do they grow inches wise? and how fat does their girth get? I just want a peak at what im in for....Also Pics are greatly appreciated such as growth pics and pics that show how big an adult is./....thanks

Here's a pic of my blood the day I brought her home, she was about 2 months old at this point in time...

Here is a pic of my blood about 6 months later...

She's now a year old, almost 3 feet long, and eats medium rats. She's quite capable of eating large rats, she just has to finish whats in the freezer before I move her up...

She has outgrown her original cage, and now resides in a 4 foot by 2 foot boaphile cage.

Well there Borneo's but you get the picture. A neonate, a yearling, and a chubby 3 or 4 year old.

Thanks, the big male is almost thirty lbs now and about 6 ft. He's a little chubby though. Put him on a diet and he just keeps gaining more weight.

Heff, thanks for the interest. He's actually a Borneo Short Tail, not a blood python. I only feed him one large rat usually every 3 weeks or so. Which isn't much at all, but he still keeps getting bigger. Here is a pic from about a month or so ago. If you look closely you can see a ruler in the upper right hand corner to compare size to.

Man you sure did a good job with that one. My friends got a borneo male thats about 5ft and about 25 lbs. They are so cool when they get that big. Do you have a female for him?

Thanks, he was one of the first snakes I got so he probably recieved a little more attention than I can give to all the animals I have now. I actually have.... four Borneo females (the yearling in the picture being one), and maybe a red het albino female that will go this year. Don't really have any plans to breed this guy to any of them though. My other males really blow him out of the water as far as looks. He's just a pet and he's too much of a sweetie to get rid of. I'll try to get some pics of my potential breeders up here in the next week or so. Just haven't had any free daylight hours to take some pics. Thanks for you guys' interest, if I can help you out with anything just let me know.

Damn....Look at the size of him!!!!! Anyway damn a large rat every 3 weeks....prolly doesnt ewven have to strtch his jaw to get that down huh?
