HELP!! emerald mites

djp183 Aug 29, 2005 10:46 PM

I recently purchased an emerald that wasn't quarantined and a few weeks ago it died either from malnutritian or a horrible outbreak of mites. I must have passed the mites to my 4 yr. old C.B. female because I saw little moving black specs on her last week. I cleaned the tank, sprayed her with "reptile relief", and bought some no-pest strip. I put a piece of the stuff in a little container inside the tank, and I thought I had eradicated them. Nope - saw two more on her today. I don't want to cause harm to my snake and I heard no-pest strips may be too strong for reptiles (even little pieces). I did remove her water bowl. Also, she is just going into a shed. What should I do? HELP!!

Use Pro-Products Provent-A-Mite . This stuff is the bomb and it's 100% effective and safe. I put in a link to their webpage and a picture of the stuff from thier site. It's the best hands down.
