I think worms are a documented prey item. I personally have never tried them, and haven't heard of any people trying them.

I know people that have success feeding them all of the following...

Pinkies
Pinky Heads
Pinky Parts
Other Small Snakes
Small Lizards
Small Skinks
Salamanders
Small Frogs
Fish

I'd say baby lizards would be the preferred food item for them,I don't have any experience with baby easterns, but I've raised a few clutches of reds and lizards are the main first food for them in the wild, especially skinks.Of the foods you listed, other than fish, pinkies are the easiest to get,so I'd keep trying them.Try offering thawed pinks instead of live, some hatchlings are intimidated by a live pinky, but will eat a dead one. Also try washing the pink with a tiny amount of soap and thoroughly rinsing it,to remove the mouse scent.Sometimes that will work by itself,or you can then scent it with lizard guts.Best way to do this is freeze a lizard, then break in half and thaw one of the broken ends a little under running water, and rub the pinky's head around in the guts to get the scent on it.You can refreeze the lizard and use it over and over again.I've never had to break down and actually feed a lizard to one of my CB red milks,I have had to do it a few times with wild caught snakes.

stick with cutup pinks, feed them just before nighttime turn out the lights or cover the tank with a towel. go back 1/2 hour later with a small penlight and quietly pull back the towel, thay should be eating away. BE carefull Ihave seen them eat each other when small. MOUSE MOUTH Keep them warm GOOD LUCK

So what part of the pinkies should I cut off?? can I feed them cut up medium pinkies to?? And what do you mean by they will eat eath other when small, does it mean that the snake will try to eat itself. Thanks Scott

Cut up the pinky. Like cut it's head off... cut it's body in half. And offer those pieces.

And by saying "they will eat each other"... the person was referring to the fact that baby eastern milk snakes will eat baby eastern milk snakes....
