Was hot today! like 102F.. once it finally started cooling off my kids and I decided to take our Iggy Spike out to enjoy the sun and fresh air.
She loved it! She has a big Iggy sunroom outside(is like an aviary) that she gets to spend many nice days in but this as her first time with an iggy harness wandering around the yard. I made one from a soft nylon dog collar, the choke-chain style where it is a length of nylon with two steel loops on each end. Used a @3' long leash and let her go where she pleased. She did great with the kids too. And they stayed out of her way. Then she spotted the dead elm tree that we have yet to dig out of the yard.. LMAO well what do iggies do with trees? hehe she loved to climb it. She got up about 6-7' up looked down at us and turned to climb to about 10' high, stretched out and enjoyed the last hour or so of sunlight. And took lots of convincing to come down.
Well here are some pictures. Enjoy! I also got a pretty good picture of her nictating(sp??) membrane in the first picture.
