how do i keep heat in?

if my ball python cages are 85, the room is 85. if it wasnt my bedroom that would be great. but its where i sleep and my corn is also in the room. how do i keep all the heat in the cage?

if its above 85 degrees is that bad for corn snakes?

You need to either cover all the top except where the overhead light is with something or maybe make a solid lid.
