Lurking quietly.
Hey, how are the agama hatchlings?
John Nicholson
In a few days they will be 4 weeks old. They doing great, thanks for asking,
They are cute, and very observant when I'm in the room, they really wait for their meals, get all excited , run up and down a piece of drift wood I have in there, when they see me coming.
They scatter to grab food, when I dump in the little crickets. They are good eaters.
I make them sit on my hand for short amounts of time. Offer my finger in front of them, until they hop on.
Trying to get them hand tamed, so they can be good pets.
One of the Black agama kids / 4 weeks on the 3d of Sept.

Sorry guys, but Nicks post was removed had to change his signature.
Anyway Nick, Angela gives some great suggestions, maybe you can re-post your care sheet (Just the care sheet, no invites, LOL )

One - list 6-8 examples of foods that they eat. Some people need very clear explicit examples.
Two - add that CBs usually have puppy like personalities, love to have their head petted, enjoy being held, and make a good pet option for someone allergic to mammal fur!
Three - add that it is not a good idead to keep two males together (intimidation fighting...), but if you want more than one chuck (we all know how adddictive they are) a trio of one male and two females can be housed in 2'x 4' area.
I'm sooooooo glad that you did this care sheet so that I don't have to for any of my students. : )
I am hoping that Tom will some day take me up on my offer of editing his notes for a book..... Hint, Hint
Very well done and an excellent contribution to the care and husbandry of these great critters.
What happened to the message I was replying to?? I can't see it now and my posting about the suggestions for the care sheet make no sense.
Confused chucker here

Well, I'm here trying like crazy to send off some pictures but can't reduce my high-pixel pics down to what the forum takes, that's where I am. Shoot. Gonna get a smaller camera so I can play with you all.
Have you downloaded or got a program such as paintshop so you can reduce your pic sizes? Mine are big also but go down to the size allowed.
Does your camera have a smaller setting? Come on,..... get those pics posted, ehehhehehee

Come out and PLAY lizard pics

My camera takes big pics too. If you have MS Paint, you can click on "image" select "stretch and skew" and reduce it by a suitable percentage. If you have Microsoft Photo Editor (I think it comes with most MS Office packages) click "image" and select "resize" and reduce the dimensions by a suitable percent. You can also do this with programs such as Adobe photoshop. My camera is 5 mega pixels so I usually end up reduceing my pics to 25% or less in order to post them.
