Calico Beauties are hatching!

Mike H. Aug 30, 2005 12:29 PM

The 1st one hatched yesterday on day #60, the others still have only their heads sticking out. Here's a couple pics of the baby's head (ya gotta love the blue eye shadow) and a 2 month old pic of mom laying.

I'm pretty happy today

They are cute little guys with those blues eyes lookin' back at ya. My female is two yrs old this month and about 4 ft. long. I'm wondering if she's big enough to breed next spring?

Hi!

I would say yes, she'll be ready. Mine seemed to top off at about 4 feet (at roughly 2 yrs). She was aprox. 2 1/2 years old when she came out of hibernation this year.

They're not especially pretty when they come out, but they get nicer as they get older. Love the coloration on the adults. TC.
