100% hets for albino, final stats were 5.3 smallest was 68 grams biggest was 79 grams. Albino to normal female

so here is a picture of one of the new babies. Almost all of them have the light area on the top of their head, and a few like this on had the spots on the nose/mouth area these little guys are soo cute.

It is fun to have little snakes again, you get all use to the big ones nice to remember how small they once were.

more pics on my page for anyone interested, I am too lazy to list them all

Misty,

Do your het albinos have a more pronounced white banding on their sides than any of their sibling normals? I was trying to determine if this theory is true (or not) that het albinos have this trait? Your animals pictured does seem to show this.

Alan.

my answer to you is there is no way to tell a het from a normal, marking or no markings haven't been proven. These are all 100% hets so there are no normals to compare them too. I have a 100% het female I got from camlon and she has more of a canvas texture to her, now is that a marking or just how the snake is. Just too many what if questions.

If you buy poss hets you are rolling the dice which is why they are cheaper because you could have a plan old normal or not.

this is the same issue as the het pied markings.

if you are unsure buy 100%'s or go with the albino and breed them yourself. I myself felt that buying one that could turn out to be normal in the end would cost me more money in time and feeding it than to just buy a 100% het.
