I was just curious if any of you know anyone or personally raise morphs and then sell the adults. Everyone is jumping on the BP bandwagon and a lot of it scares me lol. Even I'm an official groupie I just bought a little pastel but it was cheap enough and pretty enough I forked out the money. I would imagine that in a year I could sell it for a profit, and the same could be done with high dollar morphs. Just like real estate, buy something, sit on it a little bit, jack up the price, resell it.
Obviously it wouldn't be the most profitable way to do business but it saves effort of breeding and such.
Also, as far as breeding investments, wouldn't recessive traits hold their value longer than co-dom/dom morphs? I know there isn't any "super" form but for the small guy it seems like a better long term investment.
Big female ball pythons are way too overpriced, 10 years ago you couldn't give them away, somebody please crash that.
