The 5' female Green Anaconda had her first meal since she arrived several weeks ago. I was at the feed store and saw they had baby chicks for sale. I bought two and dropped one in with the larger Green. A few moments later she was giving the chick the big squeeze and that's all she wrote. The other chick went to the monitor. I tossed the chick in the cage and the monitor pounced on it like a barn owl on a baby rabbit.

Apparently I should have a near unlimited supply of frozen baby chicks. They're donated to a friend of mine who rehabilitates birds of prey. She doesn't care much for the chicks as she says their calcium is too low compared to the mice/rats she buys.

The picture is the Green Anaconda before she was fed.
