Looking for a breeder

drasticplastic Aug 30, 2005 05:23 PM

First off I want to say thank you to everyone that responded to my post below, very informative. I think I'm ready to at least try working with a GTP. There is a reptile show in San Jose, CA. on Nov 5-6 and I will be going, does anyone know of a good breeder that might be at that show? I know there are great breeders elsewhere, I just don't like the idea of having a snake shipped to me, I would rather handle him/her first to get a feel for things first. Thanks in advance.

There's also a big show in Anaheim on Sept. 10-11th. It's going to be a big one and a lot of breeders will be there.

I'm not aware of any chondro breeders attending that show. However, I DO know that there will be some at the upcoming NARBC show in Anaheim. Rico Walder and Eddite Aste from the chondro coalition are some of them. If you want more details you can check out the NARBC website at www.narbc.com.....Good luck!!!

Best wishes,
Max

Who should I be on the lookout for as far as reputable breeders that will take good care of a beginner and put up with silly questions.

The main people I can think of right now would be Rico Walder and Eddie Aste at the chondro coalition booth, and Cathy Maynard (she'll have a table there with a bunch of chondros on display)

Best wishes,
Max

Cathy and I have discussed me sending her down a few critters 'for sale'. So be on the look out for some
