New ball.

Bighaze Aug 30, 2005 08:17 PM

I got a het albino ball about three weeks ago. Now I know I need to let him settle in before he will eat, and I have. He still has not eatten, only two weeks or so, not a big deal.

What I want to know is, when your letting a snake settle in, do you still clean the cage? I did, and I'm thinking it bugged him or something.

I know a two week "off feed" is nothen, and I'm sure he will eat in time. I just want to know if any of you think cleaning the cage could of slowed it up.

You should definitely clean the cage. Just because he is not eating does not mean he cannot get sick from a dirty cage. As for him eating, just wait it out like you are and keep the patience! Cleaning the cage is fine and imo completely neccassary. -Joe
