Heya VFR,
I actually have the other jungle, which is still listed at Pete's site for $2500.
In my experience Peter's pictures do his boas absolutely no justice. It is very possible that the het you bought looks much more jungle than it does in the picture. Pete doesnt call just anything a possible jungle. The possible jungles he did sell (ive seen many third party pictures) look very close. So I imagine if he was thinking about listing yours as such, it probably does as well. Either way, being from a coral bloodline it will throw amazing albinos.
Regarding the jungle look: You are right. Although there are multiple keys to signify jungle or not, which generally allow for enough room to call it. The aspect that gets most peoples attention is obviously the saddle/tail aberrancies... they just jump right out at yeah. Secondly, there is the sudden coloration change in dorsal/lateral color. Third, extra black washout. Forth, extra white bordering tail splotches. Etc. From what I have viewed there seems to be jungles with any combination of these traits. Sometimes just pattern aberrancies and little or none of the other traits. Sometimes just color.. sometimes just washout.. etc. But there is a good chance that there will be borderline ones that do not express any of the traits significantly enough to call it a sure jungle.
To elaborate the point that Pete's pictures do no justice, compare his to mine:
See Pete's picture at this link: http://www.pkreptiles.com/available/view.asp?id=jb 04 M 019
Here is the same boa (Which ironicly I was hassled about in which someone claimed it was only a possible jungle, lots of confusion and mis-information out there):
----- Outside in the sunlight ------

----- Inside with Flash ----- (he had just eaten a weaned rat the day before)

So, as you can see, mine falls into that catagory of not expressing much pattern aberrancy. But because he has such a high expression of dorsal/lateral color change, white tail bordering, and wash out, he is an easily identified jungle.
