if theres a website that will tell me every thing i need to know about hybrids i will go there but until then i have nowhere to go with my questions

every bodys got to start somewhere, there was a time when you didnt know much about hybrids and wanted to know more, where did you go for questions?

do some trial are error and success. most hybridizers have MANY years involved.though most will help with your project . keep your project within the the Genus and try different species. i know! well, its gonna take three years to see ,oh well. i havnt done any crosses yet but i think there is a great potential for some frankensnakes yet to come.C

A successful forum like this requires people of all levels of knowledge to run - if we all knew everything nobody would ask questions, and if nobody knew anything we wouldn't have any answers.
That having been said, I do have a few suggestions.
1) People new to the forum or to hybrids often have the same questions, that have been answered many times in the forum. Those that have been around a while get tired of typing in the answers over and over. Before you ask a question, look through the archived posts to see if somebody else has asked it recently, and read those threads first.
2) Everybody gets annoyed by the "Caiman X Retic - is it possible?!?" posts. Most questions about which genuses have been successfully hybridized can be answered by looking through the archives - if you don't see it here it probably hasn't been done.
3) Respectfully, consider posting under your own name. Using the handle "goregrind" will lead lots of people (myself included) look askance at you. I like metal as much (or more!) as the next guy, and its a cool name for a band, but I would never do business with somebody using that handle. You'll get instant credibility by using an actual name.
And finally, keep asking questions. Some people will ignore your posts, but others will surely answer. This should be fun and informative for all. Ricky C probably shouldn't read the Hybrid forum if it bothers him so much. We all have the option to tune out.
