We heard from my mom and 2nd dad (Kathleen and Bob Talley - dad called) on 8/29 @ 8pm. My husband, Mick, answered the phone. He called from his cell. They stayed connected for two very short minutes, approx. 15 seconds was audioable. Between the long strings of static and crackling, he managed to hear this . . . We are ok . . . roof damage . . . trees down . . . neighbors . . . house . . . no flooding . . . then the line went silent.
I plan on leaving for Gulfport, Thursday. I can not sit in Oklahoma and wonder who's alive and WTF is going on!? I am going to try and bring food, gas cans, clothes, and misc. supplies.
ANYONE is welcome to caravan supplies down there with me.
