What is with this corn? This amel popped out with this white looking head and speckled looking body. Must be a keeper.

Who knows. Since Frosteds are a hybrid (Creamsicle- corn X emmorys) of a hybrid (creamsicle X grey rat), there are lots of stuff going on with them genetically. It could possibly be a trait (or combination of traits) from the other rat snake species used to make up the "corn" (a term I use lightly with Frosteds). Neat though- It'll be fun to see what he grows into!

Has he shed yet? I've heard of snakes with that speckling losing it with the first shed (the speckling due to something involving that first layer of unshed skin)...
