it will usually result in a mix... sometimes you will only get 1 or 2 or one color and sometimes it will be a 50/50 split...

Or sometimes you will get all yellows in spite of crossing Chondros that were of different neonate colors ( ie--one yellow and one maroon). I beleive that yellow neonates tend to be the most prevalent.

well depends on the locale really, some locales have no reds at all and some have only reds.
Only reds? I think some clutches may be only red, but I'm not aware of any locales that produce only red babies. Arus and Meraukes are known to produce only yellow neos, but there was one instance of a red aru hatchling in a European collection. I'm curious as to which locale only produces red babies.

yea brandon,i was talking about arus being always yellow(didnt hear of a red one being born in europe(was it a documented aru maybe one could have had aru looks?)even if one was found,i still think it would be safe to say that they are born yellow with a freak exception.as far as the red,i cant remember the locale but i could have sworn that i heard of a race that usually had all red babies.maybe a yellow would be a rarity but isnt there a race where almost always reds??youd know better than me.
