oh i thought you were telling a joke,lol!.....ok for real- i do see them occassionaly-nowadays(these times of internet sales, etc.)you can usually find one at your garden variety wild-caught snake retailer, most of whom seem to gather at the bottom of the country like sediment,lol....if you're asking why they're not more popular in the hobby, that's maybe even a better question;they are very pretty..as for morphs,i just saw a hypomelanistic one about a month ago at a herp show going for i think 125 dollars.

Hi,
The main reason you don't see these little jewels offered as often as other milks is the size of the neonates. Hatchlings are so tiny they don't look like they can take a pinky head. but they can..best way to start them is tails, tails and more tails. after a couple of months you can move them over to newborn pinks. as with alot of NA milks they can prefer lizards so scenting might be needed. Sounds like a lot of work don't it?? Not really .Well worth it in my opinion. be patient and keep looking. There are breeders out there. When you get them captive born and feeding on arrival they're as easy as any milk.
Good Luck.

You'll find them around. keep looking. I think they are beautiful. I worked with them for a while and just got real tired of slicing pinks in half, feeding parts and scenting for very slow growth.I just didn't think they were nice enough to go throuh all that personally.

What I did find out though is that for the guys who are very serious and work with them alot. They deserve every penny they ask for the ones that are feeding and doing well at shows. It has to be a labor of love. It just wasn't for me.Good luck.

I know they prefer lizards, but has anyone tried small fish like guppies? Perhaps not a natural food source in the wild but we convert animals all the time to eat things they don't touch in the wild. Just a thought.
