Well, despite the apparently successful operation to get the prolapsed organs back in place and stitch the little guy back up...
He didn't make it. Came home from the vet on monday doing well it seemed, but this morning I found him dead in his cage. Must have had some internal damage or unformed organs or something. Poor guy.

No one can fault you for not trying or giving up on him. My hats off to you for making the effort, hopefully it will come back to you in the near future.
