I was just sitting here thinking about how fun it would be to go look for the gator, but the lake is all guarded right now. Then I thought that maybe I could get permission from the city to go look for it one or two nights during this holiday weekend, but unfortunatly...I am a nobody. Then it occured to me that maybe someone who reads this board would have whatever qualifications are needed to get that kind of permission and maybe they would be willing to take me along!

I can supply a zodiac raft and spotlights - It would be so much fun!

I'll even act like your assistant and make all of the phone calls to the city.

I'm over it! It was just so tempting since it was so close. It seems like I will be out of luck for Louisiana and Harbor city this weekend and i will just end up at the beach.

I did talk to a guy in the Salvation Army that said he would take me there whenever he gets called - so patience I guess!
