I have seen alot of pics on setups and dont see any hide boxes in these setups? To me it makes since as they spend alot of time underground. I use slightly moist dark hides, also helps on shedding without raising humidity in the setup.They are used very frequently.
Any thoughts or opinions?

I use a hide box in my enclosure...and they almost never leave it. (except in the evening or during feeding time)
This is a picture of them in April. They will be one year in OCT of this year.
Great animals to work with!!
