BallPython13 Aug 31, 2005 09:04 PM

I one of my eastern milks ate a earthworm. I put a earthworm in each eastern milk cage after I put it in I came back about 1 1/2 later and found only one of the baby eastern milks had eaten a earthworm. Has anyone had a eastern milk take a earthworm??. Thanks Scott

I keep alot of baby garter snakes... and if you put a live worm in an enclosure, and the garter isn't hungry. That worm can and will climb up the side and out of the enclosure, and you'd never know unless you found it. I had that happen to me about a dozen times this year.

Yes I am sure the snake had a big lump in its belly and the worm was not in the cage or around the cage. Thanks Scott

I've never had a eastern eat a worm, although I have had them eat salamanders, and other snakes, especially garter snakes
