Help for the Gulf Coast

Hey - I am an avid backpacker with good survival skills and I can carry 100lbs of water 20 miles across ANY turrain. I can get out to Louisianna with some buddies by Friday if there is anyone that can tell me specifically how this skill can help. It is KILLING me to see those babies without water.

I have of course already contacted the relief organizations, but I was thinking it might be faster to work with someone a little more informal.

I know this sounds stupid, but I thought someone out there might have some info.
