Hey... So one of my females is acting rather strangly. She is rubbing herself against things in her tank, and to my knowledge is not shedding or has mites..
I'm afraid that it may be mites anyway, but I can't see anything at all. Any suggestions?

sorry, I couldn't help myself. *slaps hand*
From my experience, mites love to hang out near the underside of the head, near the jaw area. Right where the longer scales are before the throat. Luckily for us, those sclaes are white, so the mites show up easily.
If it's not mites, perhaps there is something about the BP's environment that she doesn't like... so she is looking for a way out. Has something changed inthe enclosure? Heat, humidity, hide box, etc...
You know what? She is shedding without much visible skin loss though... Kinda wierd. Anyway, yeah. YAY SHEDDING!
Is she due for a shed? You didn't see her get dark or "milky", did you?
The only time I have seen skin lift, aside from a proper shed, is while my BP was healing from a nasty burn. I dopted him from a shelter, the previous owner burned him with a stupid 'hot rock'. So, that area would often have a bit of flaking skin.
