Albino burmese observation

swara Jul 18, 2003 06:49 AM

Hey there to everyone!! First I want to thank those who helped me with my burm at my last post. Now, I have another *sigh* question. I was vacuuming this morning and noice that my burm is facinated by the light on it. She followed its every move this morning like she was a cat going to attack it... lol... it was kinda amusing... Does anyone know why she would do this or does any one else do this? Thanks for your help and have a lovely weekend!!!

OK heres my guess....dont quote me on this though haha like the last time. Im guessing she was just intrigued by the light for a couple of reasons...for one is low to the ground, has heat emmiting from it (the vaccum in this case or the actual bulb if its hot enough), and is giving off some serious vibes (vibrations hehe). Any of those might be it...but i think brian will be on in a bit to prove me wrong haha. Theres my wild guess.

That light probably emmits a lot of infrared . Heat = infrared light wich is why snakes with heat sensing pit are attracted to any heat sources .

Seems to me that the heat that the light emits would easily be detected by your snakes' heat sensing pits along her lips and she was tracking it as she would a warm-blooded, would-be, prey animal.

It isn't "Ideas" that fail or succeed,... it is the "Systems" which are instilled to launch and sustain the idea that either fail or succeed.>[Me.]
