If you've had him for a year and he ate perfectly the whole time, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just keep a close eye on his weight and energy level. Snakes will sometimes do this for no apparent reason...when he's ready to eat, he will.

I have 4 rats refusing to feed at the moment.Nothing like thawing mice out then throwing them away.I will let them go hungry for a few weeks then try again. If that doesnt work a couple more weeks.Keep fresh water in the cage they will drink.3 of my nonfeeders are male and they are all acting restless along with one female.lol..Paul

I'v told this story on here before but its relevant to your concerns. I once had a hatchling Everglades Rat Snake escape and I coudn't find him for a long time. The whole time he was missing, he had no access to food and water. In other words, I was pretty sure he was starved or died of dehydration. I found him 187 days after the escape and he thrived from then on.

As Paul and Chris said, a 2-week hunger strike is not uncommon. Just make sure your basic husbandry is OK. If you have good temperatures, a temp gradient, a nice hide spot and a clean cage, he should start eating again.
