po Sep 01, 2005 01:40 PM

ive got a sav, and hes in a huge glass cage, he used to have hides but never used them so i took them out and gave them to some of my snakes, but im getting a nile (a rescue with little handeling) and i want him to feel secure, so if anyone had pics of good setups that would be very helpfull. i am using a 5'l X 2.5 d X 2' h old iggy cage, cut a hole in the bottom to fit in a large water pan and now need ideas for the rest
any help would be great!

if you look at previous posts you'll see plenty of setups for monitors.

You can use many things for them to hide under. Plywood, pvc pipes, cork bark, palm frawns, etc.. Use these along with a good subsrtate for him to burrow down in. Then he will feel safe and secure.

You really should have them in with the sav as well.
