What snake to breed?

kthulhu Sep 01, 2005 05:09 PM

I am thinking about going into snake breeding to try and make some extra money and i was wondering what species people thought would make a good investment. I have decent knowledge of keeping reptile (i've had cornsnakes, ball pythons, kingsnakes, chameleons, leopard geckos). I've been looking at womas and some of the honduran milksnake morphs, being that both of those species are relatively small and sell for a decent price. I was just wondering which of those people thought there would be better market for, or if there are any other species that would work well. I hope to eventually get angolan pythons and black-headed pythons, but i dont think i could afford them at the moment. Thanx in advance for any help.

I would go with honduran milks. They are easy to breed. There are most likley more morphs of hondurans out there. I only seen just normal womas for sale. Hope This Helps Scott
