excuse the mess in the dish, i just dropped some things in there so he would stand still. here is my little man eating a pea. also excuse the red mark on his arm. i guess i punctured a little too far when giving him his shot this morning. i didn't even realize i had made him bleed till i saw the photo i pulled back on the syringe and no blood came out, i am not sure what i did. anyway, i got a new camera today

According to my vet, it is almost impossible to give a reptile a shot without it bleeding at least a *little*, because their "skin" isn't nearly as flexible as ours is, so it doesn't close over as quickly. Don't feel bad about it. I empathize completely after having to give archie shots for months, but just remember you are making him healthier in the long run!

Such lucky Uro children to have you as their Mom.

well i still think next week i am going to ask to switch to the oral baytril if possible, i am very good at being patient, as in waiting for them to open their mouths. i am not very good at listening to that little grunt each morning when the needle breaks the skin
