I must have missed your original post, and looking back a ways I am having trouble finding it. I'm looking to set up a rack system once I move out in a few days. What's the deal with this sort of rack system?
I was only posting this because it seems like a very handy way to house babies. I found the basic rack at Costco, and modified it.
I was only sharing this so others like you, could do it too if needed.
I do plan on selling a finished product sometime in the future on a limited basis(very limited).
The owner of Vision cages is a good friend of mine and he is doing all sorts of racks, you may want to give them a call. I have some of his prototypes and saw a few small problems with them. Thats what gave me the idea to look around.

Frank, I appreciate your experience and resoucefulness but those colors make me want to hurl every time I see those pics. 
i thought just blue for males and reds for females.Chris
