I hear people talking every so often about how there snakes grow and how long they have grown... I am just wondering... Hope has grown 1' in 4 months and that seems big to me.... because I hear everyone else say that the snake needs to be 2 years or 30" to breed.... well that means in a few months and at less than 1 year old Hope will be old enough to breed... just seems a little off to me. Also something I think is weird is that she grows in growth spurts... (sometimes) a month ago she grew 2" in a week.... is that normal for some of you?

P.S. I'm Back (for tonight anyway) My laptop is still down. But I found out how to get online at work so the company is screwed

I really have to admit, I never keep that much track of how quickly my babies grow. I feed them a pink every 7 days and they grow at what ever rate they grow at. I have a Striped Blue Eyed Ghost from my keepers of last year that has been fed the same as all the other, but she is the size of my 2003 snake, much bigger then the rest of my 2004 keepers. I normally breed in their third year (2.5 years old). Yealing that are of "breeding size" will more then likely just get egg bound from breeding them too early.
I hope this helps
