color change in sumatran bloods

do blood pythons go through a color change as the mature?

2.3 kenyan sand boas (anery, albino, het snow, normal)
1.1 hogg island boas
0.4 ball python
0.2 brazillian rainbow boa

yes they become more orange or red most of the time, but not always. it takes a couple of years though

Hey,
Yes they can and often do. Their colors can and most often become more intense as with age. However, there are some that don't under go as intense a color change as some of the more actractively colored ones. Say, i.e. a Marter red blood.

Here's my blood at 2 yrs old and then gradually to 4 yrs old.WhenI first got my blood it was a normal orange/yellow looking animal and through time has gotten redder.The color didn't start till about 2 yrs old.It continues to this day to keep getting redder.I will take some pics today since it just shed.
