poop in a lining?

bmulcahy Sep 02, 2005 11:26 AM

In my on-going to struggle to figure my bearded dragons out, I have another new twist. All their poop comes out in a lining (I want to say just like the lining you stuff sausage in). Any thoughts? Other facts - They only poop a couple of times a week at most and I also go the bath route to get them to poop a lot.

Thanks in advance!

Brian

The 'lining' is most likely a coating of mucus from the bowel to ensure the poop can slide out easier.

Some sort of lubricant probably. What made you start wondering about that... Haha

I hate when its been under the heat lamp for a while the outside can sometimes get had and shiny and the inside can stay soft for a while. If you break it, it smells. Worse. Much worse.
