ok here goes the noob question of the year!! im not kidding i wish i was... What does baby corn snake poop look like? the reason im asking is because i was holding him today he was calm as normal i had him cupped in my hand and he was warm and happy not trying to get away or anything, then i had to move my hand cause it fell asleep from not moving for so long.. once i did that he was very squirmish and trying to climb on my shirt which i really cant do yet cause he is so small so i put him back in his cage..when i looked at my black pants there was what looked like bird poop on them. figured i had given him long enough to digest.. the second question is was that poop or something else?

Yep, that is corn poo...Wait until you get poopooed on by a bigger corn....not a pretty sight... My very first snake, that I got as a hatchling used to do that to me everytime, until it got to the point when I could tell he was going to let me have it, and he would go back to his viv really quick.

Hey, look at it this way...one less poop you have to clean from the viv...lol

LOL!!! I feel better knowing that i didn't scare him or something and somehow i feel scared because i can only imagine the carnage he
is gonna drop on me in the future OH BOY!! lol that was probably why he went from sleeping in my hand to trying to climb on
my shirt and spazzing out...
this is a pic of the suspect in question

that's nothing ........you should see what a 17 foot retic can do when it is held up...........luckily it wasn't my feet.....I was to the side with the probes.......(yes I have had other gifts though).....

also.........keep an eye on that piece of pine log you have in with that snake..they give off oils.....and mine got moldy at the inner bark line all the time.....(smell it and make sure it isn't a real strong pine smell).....

actually i took the pine log out because thats only a 10 gal tank..and thats not really good enough for him to hide in so i bought him something nicer made out of stone or whatever it is he can tuck himself way under his new hide and feel more secure

a snake because of it. Don't worry, don't think anyone'll laugh at any questions here, cause we all love our hobbies & snakes and want others to be successful with them too. I see you got your "poopy" replies already, but always feel free to ask anything - it'a good way to ensure your animal's happiness!!!

Don't feel bad, I am a "Noob" also. I just bought 9 baby corns at the herp show in Daytona. My son laughs at me all the time because I think all 9 have "initiated" me. lol

But they may poop on me, but for some reason they all try to bite him. Doesn't bother him though and they are all calming down and learning it doesn't do them any good. He is also learning to move his hands slower around them.
