how do you keep a baby corn amused?

bigmandan Sep 02, 2005 06:51 PM

just want some ideas or imput on how to keep him happy or amused when im holding him..i cant let him climb on my shirt or anything else because he is too small and might fall or worse get away..when i cup him in my hands he would sit there for hours if i let him but i dont know if that is as good as letting him roam around.

when i first naaza he was quiet small, not that small but small. i would walk around with him cupped in my hands, after he started to grow more i let him move more. now i must say he is the most "docile" snake, when i have him out he will coil around my wrist and stay there, and move when he feels the urge i guess.
my other corn degei who was almost 3 ft when i got her is always wired, she is always on the go. my ball python is very calm to.
the first snake the little miami phase is naaza.
the second is degei, my common corn.
the third is my ball python durga.

yea i think i just have an active corn, which is not a bad thing by any means i just wish he was a little bigger so i can let him climb on me more without worrying about him getting away... he is very tough to pick up once he is out of my hands..very nervous snake but im just hoping that he will get over that... by the way those are some beautiful snakes..
this is a pic of my corn the first day i got him

Niblet is a very fiesty corn, too. Sometimes she's pretty calm but other times she tries to fly right through my fingers! I have dropped her a couple of times and I swear she's trying to jump. Luckily I have carpet and she flips herself right over as soon as she hits the ground like she's ready to slither away but she never does. She's a funny little snake but I love her!
