well i got tagged by my new nearly 6 foot female. i had her out and my elbo wandered over to her head while i was trying to pick her up. it wasnt a full on bite so its not too bad. i also posted a picture of my female when i first got her home. she was about to shed so i soaked her. the bite didnt hurt as bad as i thought it would, but dont get my wrong, this is still a bite and i wouldnt want to go through that again.

Congrats...I remember when I got bit from my 6 foot columbian, it was an experience. That just shows the snake likes you...kinda like a love bite...LOL...Great pics, thanks for sharing.

The bleeders club, that is. Fortunately you got tagged on a meaty part of your body and she missed any major arteries! Most of us have gotten tagged at one point, so don't feel too bad. Awesome pic of your arm, little buddy!

well it didnt show up in that pic i dont think but she did get a vein under my arm. it isnt a major vein or artery buti have one heck of a blood blister! actually it wasnt as bad as i thought joining the bloodclub.

Those saddles are really cool. Definitely not your run of the mill BCI. Where did you get her? I've been looking for a place to buy adult/subadult BCI for a while. Other than little mistakes, how is her attitude?

i got her at zoologicalsupply.com . i belive he gets loads of redtails in. he is currently getting in those puerto rican redtails thar arent classified yet. he has a subadult female puerto rican right now. i had a little trouble with him and its kinda sorted out now so make sure you know which questions to ask and make sure you get some references. i would recomend stoppong by his shop and looking at his animals if possible. my female is perfectly happy and nice. she isnt perfectly tame as you saw but i can gently scoop her out of her tub without a fuss. now my male on the otherhand is the most well behaved boa i could ever want. thanks drimes!
