First, thanks to all for the invaluable info that this forum provides. Our juvenile Leo, Echo, has doubled in size since we got her at Petco in August. (It's a shame their condition prior to "rescue" isn't better!) I credit all of you for her daily improvement in health as I am constantly reading the forum to improve my ability to care for her.
My question is what size and how many crickets should she have daily. She is a juvie, about 7in long, since we brought her home her tail has thickened substantially and she is really beefing up. I started her on small crickets, about 4 or 5 daily is all she would eat supplemented by mealies. I am now feeding her in a separate "feeder cage" and have switched her to med/lg crickets. She now consumes 2 lg. crix daily (I offer her more, but she stops at 2 and seems annoyed with the rest). She has a mealie dish and calcium dish in her cage at all times.
Since she is gaining and seems happy, does this sound OK? I just want her in the best possible health.
Thanks, as always!
