i have 2 african dwarf frogs
i have had them together for about 6-8 months now
it is a male and a female
my female is pregnant, and laid some (not too many) eggs the other day (about 50)
i have had other dwarf frogs mate, and it normally last one day (the laying of eggs)
however they ate the eggs even before they were finished being laid
she is still pregnant, (seems to be ... 3 -5 days later) and they are now fighting with each other
my male will grab my females side and pull on her
it looks very vicsious
i want to seperate them, but she is still pregnant
so my 2 questions are:
1. is this fighting part of their mating ritual ...or pre prep for laying the eggs?
2. can i seperate them, and will she be able to deliver on her own?
