My Vivarium Finally Complete...

rc_racer_007 Jul 18, 2003 10:23 AM

OKAY! First i want to thank every one for all of there help and input! Without it I dont know what I would have done!

So here it is, its a 38 gallon with false bottom. It has 2 repti-glo 2.0 lights. Hooked up to a mister that mists 3 minutes every 8 hours. Three computer fans kick on and off every few minutes each day.

More pictures are in the link on my signature. Enjoy!

Very pretty!!!
One suggestion if I may...Have you though about placing a nice board (similar to the one covering the light fixture) along the bottom, just to cover the false bottom and gravel? or maybe covering it with a black adhesive plastic...It would hide it from view...

thanks!

actully I dont mind the false bottom all that much. But, when i move out into the apartment im going to build a stand that will cover the false bottom area. Im suprised no one has said any thing about the pvc pipe with no covering on it that goes to the false bottom i still need to get a rubber stopper or something to plug it up until i need to access it.

thanks!

VERY nice, AJ! That's got to be one of the most sweated over viviariums in history, and any dart that isn't happy in it would need a psychiatrist.

Yes, the false bottom could use a disguise, but that shouldn't be a big deal to do.

Horses sweat--people prespire. None the less, you worked hard on this and it has paid off.
