Hi Bennett - I guess what I meant was what is the minimum range. For instance, with chameleons I know it needs to be at least 10 degrees (F) from ambient day temps. Is it the same for beardies?

Darwin is in my bedroom and it is one opf the warmer rooms in the house. When we have hot days it can take some time to cool down and I cover him due to lights. I just want to make sure he cools down enough. He gets nice and dark & ugly (:-O) and basks for a couple hours in the a.m.

thanks,
lele

As far as I know, night time temps don't really matter as long as it does not get too cold. I have never paid attention to it other than keeping an eye on minimum temps. My indoor BDs have pretty much a constant ambient room temp so when the lights go out it gets down to the 70s.
