ha ha, i got a new tattoo, i just had to share the news with you all, it is a vestigium collared, and the lovely chino was the model the tattoo artist used (thanks eve!) as soon as i get some pictures i will post them on here with a little story behind it

ok this is the best i could do with the digital camera by myself with the help of a mirror, next week i will get my friend to take some pictures of it for me. anyway, when i was in chile i got my first tattoo of the kultrun, it is the four points of the earth to the mapuche tribe of chile. now about five years later, i am in the process of leaving another important aspect of my life so i wanted something to remember san diego (besides the really expensive degree on the wall!) i love latin america and i love lizards so i incorporated the two, with the lizard protecting the four points of the earth. also the vestigiums are the closest collareds to san diego (i think).

the tail is a little short but i can always get that fixed. when i looked at the picture i gave them, the way it printed made the end of the tail the same color as the sand so i think he thought it stopped. anyway, it is not exact but i love it anyway

I was just watching someingthing about tattooing on the discover channel today! Did it hurt? It looks pretty big was it done in one session?

yeah, the tattoo is larger than a collared in size but with the tattoo i already had, if he was a normal collared size then he just looked like he was sitting on my first tattoo, ha ha. i did it in one session. it took about 2.5 hours

Sorry I did not get back to ya last week with a new pic or measurements, I was not bothering them (Chino and Chia ) as Chia was laying then. She layed 4 infertiles.

Plus I had no idea you were getting it so soon.

Anyway glad ya got your lizard tattoo (very cool indeedy!) I like your 4 points of the earth tat also

I have yet to get my lizard tattoo, gave a pic to my guy he was going to work something out (draw on paper) fo rme to see but never called back, sorta bothered me, so I did not call either

So nice to have a lizard with ya ALWAYS ! Very Nice

lol, i know you are a busy woman and i figured we could work it out together at the studio. just for future reference, from the picture i gave him the guy drew it in like 30 minutes. so just show up and say "i want to be tatooed today!" ha ha. i actually gave him the picture off your website of chino facing sideways with his tail in an arc shape. now go out and get tattooed

3 times , I needed a cover-up on one I want to have hidden, thats what the hold up was!

Your tattoo is really cool; that's something I have considered doing in the past. I always knew a collared would be the ONLY choice for me!
