I just got a juv. Misool Island GTP and was wondering if anyone has a picture of what an adult looks like?

got me..never heard of that locale.where did you get it from and better question is,if you dont know anything about the locale,what made you pick it in the first place?just curious because when i was deciding to get my first chondro,i looked at tons of pictures and read tons of literature ,trying to decide what locale would give me the best bet of getting the type of snake i wanted.couldnt imagine buying a snake and not having any idea what he would grow up to look like,well at least not having any picture in my head of what i wanted him to look like.

no idea but when i got my outerblambolian wooly chondro,i had no idea what he was going to mature into,but that was half the fun.there was actually a point where i thought i got beat when,to me,he looked exactly like a sorong.i took him back to the pet store and the owner had to explain to me that with sorongs,the blue dorsal stripe goes from head to tail,in outerblambolians,it goes from tail to head.boy did i feel stupid.goes to show you how the trained chondro eye can pick up things that newbies just plain miss.

Its an island to the west of Sorong and south of Salawati. I brought in some Jayapura's and one bag was marked Misool Island Chondro. I'll post a pic of it tomorrow. It's yellow with an orange/red wash over it. It's been here less than 24 hours an eaten already and no I don't want to sell it.

i cant say i know of the locality either... what do you mean by

was a part of this thread deleted?i didnt see anyone asking to buy it.nor do i know too many people who would buy a snake they havnt seen and whos origin is questionable.this is a weird post because if its a new locale,and you claim its imported,i couldnt imagine where it came from.no farms are working with this locale in indonesia and if its a wild caught,well i was under the impression that indonesia still had a ban on wild caught animals.speaking of ban on wild caught chondros,where the hell are the canaries coming from?they are either farmed or illegal,correct?everyone i talk tro seems to think they are wildcaught but that would be illegal,and if they are illegal,well,there seem to be a hell of a lot of them.

This was exactly the point Troy made when I had e-mailed him about everyone thinking Tempest was a Canary. He said they would be illegal as they can't possibly come from the only breeding farm there. Not if they are from the island and adults.

I suspect the confusion came from Mr Kat who asked why he bought that one, and that he was in the market for a chondro. I think the person posting thought he was asking about buying it.
