Yup, that'd do it. I don't handle my blood the day of feeding, and she refused food both times the cats jumped on her cage after I tossed the food in. If I don't wait until after dark, her feeding response is reduced as well....

None of this was a problem when she was eating live, but frozen thawed is sooooo much easier.

Also, could she be in shed? Its tough to tell if they go clear, but mine won't eat until she's done, which sometimes means 2 skipped meals.

Hey Mike
My advice is just to chill out alittle bit, It sounds to me like your blood is in the early stages of a shed cycle. Remember keeping snakes is a hobby that is supposed to be enjoyed. Although I admire you quest for knowledge, you have to also use your own experience by simply learning from your snake. If you let a snake skipping a meal get you so frustrated, it is not going to be an enjoyable experience for you. It sounds to me like you have your temps in an acceptable range, the snake has proper hide spots, water, and Im sure you have kept the humidity acceptable. I think you got it, other than your kinda bizzare fascination with keeping the snake in the closest that is, but to each their own.
It is time to relax, let the snake relax in its new enviroment, and just enjoy having him!
Chris
