Does any thermostat . . .

alicecobb Sep 04, 2005 06:51 AM

have an alarm when the temps in the enclosure get out of a certain range? I am concerned that a power failure or some other situation will cause my temps to get too high (I'm not worried about too cold because I'm in Central Florida and that doesn't happen very often inside a house ).

If none of the thermostats have such an alarm, how do you best guard against this happening?

Thanks for your help. Have a great labor day.

Beautiful male albino purchased from Chris Bianco . . . thanks Chris!

GCS makes a very nice Thermostat with a built in alarm...its fully programmable to what conditions need to be met:too high, too low and for how long it has to be at your set tempatures before the alarm will go off...
