The price of plastic sheet is skyrocketting

I tried to buy some 3/4" foamed pvc and they wanted $175 bucks a sheet.

This is ridiculous.

It was $110 a few weeks ago.

Also I can tell you the price of plastic will not stop going up until oil levels off and that is not happening any time soon. I sell products made of plastic for a living and the last year has been really hard, I quote folks on plastic items and a few days later the price goes up again and I have to requote! We have seen about a 60% price increase on plastics from this time last year. I can't wait until us Americans are less oil dependant. We really need to look at other forms od energy and materials.
