i have 1.1 breeder leucs... would it be better to get more leucs (like 4 or 5 more) or can i keep blue auratus with them??

I have heard that leucs can be kept in less humid vivs and induced to breed by raising the humidity. So I would guess if you plan to breed dont mix.Plus, pervailing wisdom seems to be not to mix at all. Just going by what I heard hopefully someone with more experience will reply also.

Get more leucs (5-10 gallons per leuc). If you add auratus you will get hybrids (not a good thing).

In my experience, some strains of blue auratus are extremely shy, so besides the somewhat remote possibility of hybrids, the auratus might be intimidated by the much bolder leucs to the point they wouldn't thrive. My advice is don't mix at all, at least until you have a couple of years experience with each candidate raised separately.
