Safe paint and sealant for enclosure?

ihilani13 Sep 04, 2005 04:31 PM

I am planning to build a new enclosure for my 3 juvi female beardies. I'm looking for advice on a waterproof sealant for plywood, like deck paint that once dry would be safe for the bottom. Also, I'd like to paint the walls with a scene, what paint would you recommend? Any help or hints are appreciated. Thanks.

PS
Any size suggestions?

pretty much any non oil based paint can be used for the bearded dragon's cage. The main concern is you give it time to fully dry and air out before putting your dragons into it. Acrylic paints can be sealed with a clear sealer, urathane you could use.
