So even you admit they are not proven thus far, but you sell them as het for it? I am not seeing the logic. I just am not seeing how you can sell something as genetic that has never been proven genetic. Perhaps if those selling them said from the paradox line or poss genetic paradox. You dont even know if its recessive. Thats just a guess.
I understand a normal looking snake from an albino breeding is het. I said from an albino line, really meaning from a het to het or het to normal.
Its not in what you are selling, its how you are selling them. You seem to have a nice collection, but what person in their right mind would spend thousands of dollars on missrepresented animals. Next year this conversation may be moot. Next year we all may have flying cars, but you shouldnt start selling the flying cars until we know they are going to exsist.
So long as you are responding (Redneck Reptiles), whats with selling the normal ball pythons marketed as pinstripe siblings for huge prices? Do you know something about these that no one else does? Or are you just selling real estate on the moon? Sure they may be pinstripe siblings, but so what?? Another well known site has an entire threed about your pinstripe siblings, so no need to go in to detail here.
The point of all of this is not if paradox will be genetic, or if pinstripes have some hidden recessive traits.... but rather the character of the breeder. If you cant trust what he is selling and how he is marketing it what can you trust?
I would however like modify my first post in saying that I see no problem what so ever with anyone saying they are from the paradox line... right up until the genetics are proven one way or the other. I know many breeders have encountered paradox albinos and are trying to prove them, and I wish them luck... they are really neat.
